Faced with a Wrigley's re-launch, Trident needed to reduce high stock levels before launching its own new initiatives. A radical idea was required to take the sting out of Wrigley's tail. After lengthy negotiations with all the major record labels, we signed the world's hottest star to perform at the O2 for one memorable night, exclusively for Trident consumer and trade customers. We turned the Trident pack into valuable currency by which tickets could be obtained. Outdoor, magazine and radio and an extensive social media campaign whipped consumers into a frenzy during the build-up to the 02 spectacular.
