Inspiring young people

Sainsbury's were highly committed to their CSR programme and a new addition was our YouthCan communication package that inspired over 1,000 Sainsbury's colleagues to visit 700 schools to talk about employment opportunities and get young adults to change their views about retailing and the career opportunities within it. The campaign contained a book with careers maps for schools and a specially created film – conceived, written, directed and edited in-house by the agency and featuring a young man who joined Sainsbury's at 19, and by 26 became Store Manager at their Ilford branch.
