Don't insult me…just talk to 'me'

I hear endless talk about how a target audience behaves, how they can be reached and how to actively engage them. All very relevant and not to be ignored, but we must not forget that whatever marketing we are engaged with, we're invariably talking to unique individuals just like you and me.

Through digital we can truly deliver against exactly this. We're in a world where we can communicate with people based on exact moments of unique data. Creating almost perfect conditions for brands to connect with individuals when it matters most.

In the immediate future questions will be asked about brand intrusion to avoid being perceived as weird and 'stalkerish' as opposed to welcoming the relevance of brands who just want to talk to you as a person when you want them to.

I care about the fact that every individual is exactly that, an individual who has their own beliefs – and this is reflected in the way we use digital to work with the complexities, behaviours and motivations of the individual.
