New Year….new people
Increased business from both existing and new clients means an opportunity for new talent to join Initials, so we are delighted to welcome four new colleagues to the agency.
Julie has over 10 years' experience in marketing, working on an array of clients and projects including brand activation for Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Bacardi Global Brands & Edrington, across the on-trade and off-trade both in the UK and globally. She joins as as a Senior Communications Director on Walkers and Quaker with our PepsiCo team.
Her diverse skill set includes internal communication projects for Unilever, the European MINI Countryman launch to press and opinion leaders, global toolkit creation for Courvoisier, Highland Park and Dewar's whisky and the consumer launch of the new 360 speaker range from Samsung. Additional clients have included the British Paralympic Association, Delta Airlines, Mitchells & Butlers, Wells & Young's, Motorola, Partypoker.com & Transport for London.
Julie loves travelling and continues to do so as often as possible despite being held up at knife point on a trip to Venezuela! She's also a big sports fan and enjoys playing hockey, tennis and snowboarding as well as heading down to St Mary's to watch the Saints whenever she can. She's also recently discovered a talent for tiling and wallpapering whilst refurbishing her home!
Hannah has worked in marketing for the past 4 years on both retail and FMCG brands, and joins as a Senior Communications Manager on PepsiCo. Her experience includes in-store campaigns, tactical activity and several iPhone launches for Vodafone as well as seasonal campaigns, POS, brochures and CRMs for Signet (Ernest Jones & H.Samuel).
She has also worked on product launches and promotional activity for key Heineken brands including Sol, Strongbow, John Smith's, Amstel and Kronenbourg. Other clients have included Budgens, Londis and Dairy Crest.
Outside of work, Hannah considers herself a bit of a foodie, however more in terms of eating rather than cooking! She also does her best to stay fit and healthy despite their somewhat conflicting interests!
Following a period of temporary work, Charlotte saved enough to travel the world for 6 months. During her tour she had the opportunity to go from one extreme to another, visiting children in Cambodia who had never seen an iPhone, to swimming with great white sharks in Australia.
Scuba diving is one of her passions and she has recently achieved her open water diver certification. Film and theatre have always been a love of hers from a young age, and she has performed in various musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Oliver. Charlotte has also appeared in advertisements for EON Electricity and Vimto, as well as television shows for the BBC, ITV and Nickelodeon.
So after completing a three months internship, it's 'curtain up' for Charlotte in her first permanent role as a Junior Designer at Initials.
Charlotte admits to an unhealthy obsession with social media, which should stand her in good stead when it comes to the agency's rather healthy obsession with it!
Prior to joining Initials, she started her career at social media agency Fold7 before joining BD Network to work on the Virgin Media retail account for about two and a half years. As well as learning all there is to know about telecoms and electronics, she had the opportunity to work across drive-to-store campaigns and in-store POS.
Charlotte's previous experience also includes working at 23Red on Department of Health campaigns such as 'Stoptober' and 'Change4Life'.We welcome Charlotte at the end of February as a Communications Manager in our Shopper team, where she'll be working on Pepsico and Philips Personal Care & Kitchen Appliances.
